PLAYING PRETEND IN A DOWNTOWN SPEAK EASY
I hung out with Autumn and Peter a few weeks ago in a moody speak easy, and it turned out to be some of my favorite art I’ve ever created.
We experimented and pretended like we were in an old timey movie. Autumn climbed on bar tops and the two of them danced to the sound of bartenders setting up and glasses clinking. The whole place was decked out in vintage paintings and the walls were lined with worn out books and it was dimly lit and smelled like cigarette smoke.
It was pretty hard not to imagine ourselves as part of that old timey, vintage love story, actually.
