The second installment in my six part Obsessive Artist series, Cinematic takes a look into what a couples session would look like on the big screen. I purposefully shot the majority of the session underexposed, in landscape orientation, with emphasis on extra wides and close up moments.
I put myself in the shoes of a cinematographer and imagined.. what if?
I spend a lot of my time reminiscing on the best memories, ready to create more. My hope is that my work creates that sense of nostalgia for you. The kind of feeling you wanna relive over and over again- front of the fridge, living room wall worthy.
I love madly in details.
I love the smell of vanilla candles and the air when it’s crisp just before a fall rainstorm. I love the way that the sky turns all sorts of orange and pink when the sun’s going down. I’ll spend an hour at the store just to make sure I find you the perfect birthday card, and then I’ll probably end up buying two anyways. I’m fascinated by how the waves in the ocean are never ending and if you were to ask what inspires me, I’d say storytelling in all of its many different art forms.
