SCOTTIE’S IN HOME NEWBORN SESSION

The last time Scottie was on my feed, she wasn’t Earth side yet!

Collette and Jared invited me into their home to document Scottie’s arrival, and it turned out to be the sweetest afternoon. We hung out in her nursery, slowing down to quietly observe all of her precious little movements and sounds.

With newborn sessions, I try my hardest to notice the smallest details- shirts hanging and baby books, her tiny hands, nose scrunches, and all the times mom and dad smile down at her.

This family of three made it easy <3 Welcome to the world, Scottie Jean!

I spend a lot of my time reminiscing on the best memories, ready to create more. My hope is that my work creates that sense of nostalgia for you. The kind of feeling you wanna relive over and over again- front of the fridge, living room wall worthy.

I love madly in details. 

I love the smell of vanilla candles and the air when it’s crisp just before a fall rainstorm. I love the way that the sky turns all sorts of orange and pink when the sun’s going down. I’ll spend an hour at the store just to make sure I find you the perfect birthday card, and then I’ll probably end up buying two anyways. I’m fascinated by how the waves in the ocean are never ending and if you were to ask what inspires me, I’d say storytelling in all of its many different art forms.
