A CINEMATIC SOLAR ECLIPSE PROPOSAL IN FORT WORTH

When you’re sitting on a bench at the botanical gardens, ready to view the solar eclipse, but he has other plans…

Leo proposed just before totality, and then they sat together, soaking it all in, staring up at the sky.

This proposal was such a once in a lifetime opportunity. Leo told me when he inquired that he was very drawn to and inspired by movies and cinematic stills, so I tried to pull some of that influence into their photos. Given the magic of the total eclipse, and the raw emotion all over Steph’s face, it made it easy.

Once the eclipse had concluded, we ventured around the gardens and ended up in the butterfly house for a few final moments together. I genuinely will never EVER be over this day!!

I spend a lot of my time reminiscing on the best memories, ready to create more. My hope is that my work creates that sense of nostalgia for you. The kind of feeling you wanna relive over and over again- front of the fridge, living room wall worthy.

I love madly in details. 

I love the smell of vanilla candles and the air when it’s crisp just before a fall rainstorm. I love the way that the sky turns all sorts of orange and pink when the sun’s going down. I’ll spend an hour at the store just to make sure I find you the perfect birthday card, and then I’ll probably end up buying two anyways. I’m fascinated by how the waves in the ocean are never ending and if you were to ask what inspires me, I’d say storytelling in all of its many different art forms.
