This one’s a little more special than most: my brother’s having a baby!
I was so lucky to have the honor of putting together the design of their gender reveal, which was obviously so much fun for me. After some back and forth and lots of brainstorming sessions, we ultimately landed on a vintage Peter Rabbit theme. Finding inspiration for this was tricky, because it was a mix of things I had seen on Tik Tok and Pinterest, while also just living in my brain.
Most of what I found was thrifted from Goodwill, Flipstone Vintage and Thrift, Half Price Books, and Lonestar Antique Mall. I’m not quite sure what I did on that random week day, but I found everything I needed in a matter of a few hours. If you’re a thrifter, you know that NEVER happens.
Add in a couple of Amazon orders and home decor we already owned between the families, and we were ready to go! (Cookies courtesy of Aly’s Sweet Spot)

My mom had the cutest idea for their backdrop: an antique desk that she’d flip and fill the drawers with baby clothes and little blankets. We added curtains and baskets filled with flowers (shout out HEB) to bring it altogether. It was absolutely perfect for what we needed and looked beautiful!

After lots of visiting with friends and family, it was time to share the gender! We grabbed the Build-A-Bear box, handed out the confetti poppers to the soon to be grandparents, and shared excitement together over it being a BOY!
