AN INTIMATE GARDEN WEDDING IN SAN ANTONIO

I got to go down to San Antonio this spring to document the most serene intimate celebration at The Gardens at West Green. From the moment we drove up, I was completely in love with this venue: the way the wind blows through the trees, the quiet echoes of the fountains flowing. It’s a tucked away hidden gem.

Amanda and Bryan wed that afternoon in a tearful ceremony surrounded by all of their favorite people. What followed was an evening of laughter, good company, a delicious meal, and shared memories. We concluded the evening with their first dance under the chandelier- just before a rainstorm.

I spend a lot of my time reminiscing on the best memories, ready to create more. My hope is that my work creates that sense of nostalgia for you. The kind of feeling you wanna relive over and over again- front of the fridge, living room wall worthy.

I love madly in details. 

I love the smell of vanilla candles and the air when it’s crisp just before a fall rainstorm. I love the way that the sky turns all sorts of orange and pink when the sun’s going down. I’ll spend an hour at the store just to make sure I find you the perfect birthday card, and then I’ll probably end up buying two anyways. I’m fascinated by how the waves in the ocean are never ending and if you were to ask what inspires me, I’d say storytelling in all of its many different art forms.
