THE WEST INSPIRED

in collaboration with katelyn miller photo, an experience designed with the west in mind…

When Katelyn and I sat down and started brainstorming, we were so drawn to the spirit of the west, and felt wildly inspired by folk and country music. We wanted to bring what felt like pieces of Montana home, paying homage to vast landscapes and a simple, organic lifestyle with a bit of adventure.

Wide open fields, free roaming bison, cowboy boots and little lace bows. Windblown hair and free-spirited love stories. Wild, vintage, made in the U.S.A. This is inspired country!

It’s all taking place on October 1st in The Wichita Mountains, a wildlife refuge just inside the Oklahoma border.

MORE ABOUT this experience

All of our shoots for this content day will be taking place in The Wichita Mountains, a wildlife refuge just over the border in Lawton, Oklahoma. With granite mountains, endless prairies, and freshwater lakes and streams, this location is a dream!

We’ll kick off the morning with our family and bridal shoots, break for lunch, and come back for the couples and elopement shoots that afternoon.

Each concept will last about an hour and a half, so you’ll have plenty of time to create magic! With a close knit group of 10, each photographer will have the opportunity to have their own moment to lead and be creative.
