A Summer Maternity Shoot in the Garden

Sabrina and Tanner are ready to welcome their little one next month! I immediately gravitated towards a bed of pink flowers and shortly after, they mentioned they’d be having a girl! From then on, I knew I wanted to incorporate shades of pink in any way I could.

The Dallas Arboretum is beautiful year round, but there’s something about early summer that hits so beautifully. It was the most peaceful morning, filled with birds chirping and conversations about stepping into parenthood.

These photos ended up being the sweetest expression of who they are: sweet, playful, warm, joyful, and excited.

I spend a lot of my time reminiscing on the best memories, ready to create more. My hope is that my work creates that sense of nostalgia for you. The kind of feeling you wanna relive over and over again- front of the fridge, living room wall worthy.

I love madly in details. 

I love the smell of vanilla candles and the air when it’s crisp just before a fall rainstorm. I love the way that the sky turns all sorts of orange and pink when the sun’s going down. I’ll spend an hour at the store just to make sure I find you the perfect birthday card, and then I’ll probably end up buying two anyways. I’m fascinated by how the waves in the ocean are never ending and if you were to ask what inspires me, I’d say storytelling in all of its many different art forms.
